William James Brown, 81, passed away Sept. 15 in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Arthur and Dasey (Richards) Brown on Dec. 23, 1927, in Monterey Park, Calif.


William married his beloved bride Frances on March 14, 1953. He made Lake Havasu City his home 19 years ago from Los Angeles where he was a route driver for the Los Angeles Times for several years. William was a very giving person. He loved football; his favorite team was the USC Trojans.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances. William is survived by his good friends and neighbors, Paul and Susan Hypes and Sam Husson.
