Donald W. Tibbles, 87, passed away on Sept. 20 in Lake Havasu City. He was born on May 24, 1922 in Elko, Nev.

Donald moved to Lake Havasu City five years ago from Crescent City. He was full of adventure and accomplishments. Son of a camp cook in Wyoming oil country, his life experiences began rich in variety. Don was a progressive learner and determined teacher, mostly of truth he discovered in the Bible. He had a talent for making lasting impressions — it only took a minute or two before you were sized up and having a conversation.

Survived proudly by an unknown number of spiritual families, the story of his life is remarkable.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 3200 Jamaica Blvd. Lake Havasu City on Saturday at 1 p.m. You are invited, all are welcome.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
