JoAnn Neylan passed away Nov. 5 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 76.  She was born on Sept. 7, 1933, in Winchester, Tenn., to Floyd and Bertha (Dennis) Sellers.

JoAnn, or “Grandma Jo,” as she was better known, moved to Lake Havasu City 17 years ago from Stamford, Conn., where she worked for Karp’s Hardware as an administrative assistant.

Grandma Jo could always be found at football and baseball games, watching her grandson Max play. One of her favorite activities was watching “Jeopardy” and also enjoyed a good game of Scrabble. She was the best mother and grandmother that anyone could ask for and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Grandma Jo is survived by her son, Bob Neylan, of Tucson; daughter, Terry Delia, of Lake Havasu City; brother, Bob Sellers, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and grandson, Max Delia, of Lake Havasu City.

No services will be held, however donations in Grandma Jo’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or Havasu for Youth, 145 N. Lake Havasu Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86403.

Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
