The family moved to Livermore, Calif., when Bryan was a small child. There, during his youth, he rode some in junior rodeos. That gave way to bicycling. One of his favorite things was long-distance riding with the family’s Aussie shepherd trotting along side. He loved family get-togethers and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Bryan worked most of his adult life in the construction industry as a roofer and a framer. He made Lake Havasu City his home from California 11 years ago.
Bryan leaves behind his beloved family; son, Kyle Samuelson, of Freemont, Calif.; mother, Johanna Henwood, of Lake Havasu City; and two brothers, Brad Henwood, of Fremont, Calif., and Kevin Henwood, of San Bernardino, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Henwood.
