Al was born and raised in Petaluma, Calif. He worked on a dairy ranch and drove hay trucks during his teens. He was an excellent mechanic and was employed by the Golden Gate Bridge District in various capacities for 25 years. Al loved the ocean and fished commercially for salmon, crab and albacore out of San Francisco.

Albert Momsen

Five years ago, Al and his wife decided to move to Lake Havasu City. He enjoyed boating, flying remote-control model airplanes, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Al’s wonderful sense of humor will be missed but never forgotten.

Al is survived by his wife and best friend, Linda; daughter, Terri Ebert (Ron); granddaughters, Chrissy and Jennifer; great-grandson, Owen; numerous brothers and sisters; and his in-laws, Art and LaVerne Bordt.

Al’s desire was that no services be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Society of Havasu, PO Box 1410, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405 or the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.

Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
