Bruce Ellis Klapp

Bruce Ellis Klapp, the beloved husband of Louanna Klapp, passed away Nov. 5. He was Dad, Daddy, Pops and Papa to seven children and many grandchildren. He is survived by two siblings, plus lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Bruce was born in Seaford, Del., Feb. 5, 1934. He graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in engineering and was an ex-Marine.

He fell in love with Lake Havasu City on his first trip in 1968. He lived here with his wife full-time since 1988. He loved flying, boating and skiing; coached and managed Little League teams, a fierce table tennis player, a great Bridge Master and instructor. He also enjoyed traveling and camping with a little fishing thrown in.

Bruce lived a full life. He was a wonderful husband, great father, and trusted friend. He was loved by so many and will truly be missed.

A little memorial for family and friends will be on the lake around the middle of April. Those wishing to attend or for more information, may call 928-764-3155 or cell 925-719-1487.
