Doris June Hart passed away Dec. 24 in Lake Havasu City. She was born on June 21, 1930, in Los Angeles to Leslie Eugene and Maye Johanna (Binns) Melton. Doris had a career as an electronic assembler, last working at Parko Electronics, then continued working out of her home. She loved bingo, bowling and visiting the casinos. She also loved her crafts, gardening and her many, many poodles. She was a member of the CB Club, Pigeon Club and the Bowling League. She enjoyed camping, fishing and boating with her husband and family. She was loved and will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Renna Melton; father, Eugene Melton; brother, Sam Melton; mother, Maye (Binns) Johnson; husband, Dale Hart; brother, Bob Melton; and two grandsons, Shane Plennart and Randy Meier Jr.
A celebration of life will take place at noon Jan. 2 at the home of Jim and Gloria Hart, 630 Camero Drive, Lake Havasu City.
Donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society or New Hope Hospice of Havasu.
