Michael Thomas Spencer, 45, passed away Jan. 9, in Lake Havasu City. He was born on July 24, 1964, in Phoenix, to Richard R. and Hanni E. (Zeizinger) Spencer.



Michael was a Lake Havasu High School graduate and star athlete. He recently moved back to Lake Havasu City from Las Vegas. He worked as a master tile setter in the construction industry.

Michael was a doting father, loving son and brother. He was a hard working, caring, strong willed, yet meek young man. Michael was a good listener, enjoyed reading and learning new things. He was an avid fisherman and sportsman, liked to travel and loved the outdoors.

Michael is survived by his wife, Olga Spencer; and daughter, Abigail, of Las Vegas; his parents, Richard and Hanni Spencer, of Lake Havasu City; brothers, Richard, Robert and Paul Spencer; sister, Susan Seliquini and their families; along with best friends, Bob, Craig and Roger.

A Rosary will be said at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church Thursday at 10:30 a.m., with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Father Mike will be offering words of comfort and inspiration. A reception will follow at the Holy Family Parish Hall.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
