Catherine Rita Ferrari

Catherine Rita Ferrari passed away Jan. 20 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 88. She was born to Domenic and Minnie (Reano) Ruffatti Dec. 7, 1921 in Felix Township, Ill.
Catherine married her best friend, Carl Ferrari, April 21, 1956, and together they made Lake Havasu City their home 45 years ago from Braidwood, Ill. She was a schoolteacher for the Lake Havasu City School District for several years.  

Catherine leaves behind her son, James Ferrari, of La Mesa, Calif.; brothers, Peter and Raymond Ruffati; sister, Irene Tanner and her husband Perry. She was recently preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Carl James Ferrari, who passed away Jan. 5.

Donations may be made in Catherine’s name to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
