Edward L. Stillson

Edward L. Stillson passed away Jan. 23, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nev., at the age of 52, as a result of injuries received on Dec. 4, in an automotive accident that occurred on State Route 95 by Home Depot. Ed was born June 26, 1957, in Montebello, Calif., to Ben and Nancy (Hinkel) Stillson Jr.



Ed moved from Lake Elsinore, Calif., to Lake Havasu City 10 years ago to pursue his hobby and passion which was riding his Sea-Doo on the Lake. Ed was employed at A Plus Concrete as a set-up man and prior to moving to Arizona, had worked in the logging industry in Oregon.

Ed is survived by his mother, Nancy Jamar, of Lake Havasu City; sisters, Lois Ann Owen, of Lake Forest, Calif., and Patty Campbell, of Twin Falls, Idaho; daughters, Joanna Stillson and Julia Stillson, of Portland, Ore.; one grandchild, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ben W. Stillson Jr.; brother, Rodney W. Stillson; and grandmothers, Matilda Stillson and Dorothy Hinkel.

A celebration of Ed’s life will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at 1883 Willow Ave., Lake Havasu City.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
